I had the Jardine slip-on put on my savage and at the same time had a new carb and adjustments made to it as suggested in the Jan'97 Rider magazine's tech q & a. Brian Clarke's review of the Savage at www.islandnet.com/~brclarke/ls650.htm gives a copy of the tech q & a.
I love the changes in my bike and highly recommend them. The sound is unbelievable and the performance is improved, although I have always been impressed with it's snappy response anyway.
